Climbing Training Boards

Whether you’re just learning and developing new-found muscles or is the full-on power junkie looking for extra reserves, time spent on a training board will directly correlate to success at the crag.

All of our climbing training boards are made of solid pieces of poplar wood for a consistent, durable, and comfortable. Each climbing board was designed from the ground up to satisfy the requirements of a broad range of climbers and specific training and climbing scenarios. Whether you are looking for a more traditional wall mounted climbing training board or a portable option for training, in an apartment, or warming up at the crag, we have a solution. Here one will find large grip-holes, small grip-holes, narrow lasts, beastmaker 1000, beastmaker 2000, round grips, and many more.

Training boards need a couple of feet of space in front of and behind the vertical plane of the board to permit space for your lower body. Try not to mount directly on a flat wall. Screw your training board to the backboard with the enclosed screws; utilize all of the holes provided. Since you’ll likely be screwing through drywall, you won’t have the option to visually verify the quality of the attachment. Make sure that the screws go in solidly and there is resistance all the way in. Make sure the Backboard or plywood mounting board is large enough and to allow you to position the training board correctly.
